Exhaust Gas Recirculation Outlet Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve outlet pipe bolt from the intake manifold.
3. Remove the EGR valve outlet pipe nut from the EGR valve adapter.
4. Remove the EGR valve outlet pipe.


Installation Procedure




1. Install the EGR valve outlet pipe.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the EGR valve outlet pipe bolt to the intake manifold.

Tighten the bolt to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the EGR valve outlet pipe nut to the EGR valve adapter.

Tighten the nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair).
