Transmission Front Mount Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the front compartment splash shield. Refer to Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement Service and Repair.

3. Support the front of the transmission using a suitable jack stand.




4. Remove the transmission front mount through bolt (1).




5. Remove the 3 transmission front mount bolts (1).

6. Remove the transmission front mount (2).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the transmission front mount (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the 3 transmission front mount bolts (1) and tighten to 62 Nm (46 lb ft).




3. Install the transmission front mount through bolt (1) and tighten to 100 Nm (74 lb ft).

4. Remove the jack stand.

5. Install the front compartment splash shield. Refer to Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement Service and Repair.

6. Lower the vehicle.
