Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement - Rear (2.0L LHU)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the 3 way catalytic converter. Refer to Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (2.4L LEA) Three-Way Catalytic Converter ReplacementThree-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (2.0L LHU) Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement.

2. Using a suitable jack stand, support the rear of the transmission.




3. Remove the transmission rear mount bolt (3) with the heat shield (4).

4. Remove the 3 transmission rear mount bracket bolts (1, 2).

5. Remove the transmission rear mount bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the transmission rear mount bracket.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the 3 transmission rear mount bracket bolts (1, 2) to transmission and tighten to 100 Nm (74 lb ft).

3. Install the transmission rear mount bolt (3) with the heat shield (4) and tighten to 100 Nm (74 lb ft).

4. Remove the jack stand.

5. Install the 3 way catalytic converter. Refer to Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (2.4L LEA) Three-Way Catalytic Converter ReplacementThree-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (2.0L LHU) Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement.

6. Lower the vehicle.
