Assist Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Release both assist strap escutcheons.
2. Gently pry out on the outer edge of the escutcheon.
3. Release the escutcheon and slide it to the center of the assist strap.
4. Remove the 2 screws.
5. Remove the coathook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement (Service and Repair) .
6. Remove the assist strap.



Installation Procedure





1. Align the assist strap to the openings in the headliner.
2. Install the coathook. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Install the 2 screws.
4. Install the 2 escutcheons.
