Weatherstrip Replacement - Front Door

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover


Removal Procedure





1. With the door open, start at the rear upper corner of the door working downward pull the weatherstrip away from the door flange.
2. Use the J 38778 to carefully remove the retainers from the bottom half of the door.
3. Remove the weatherstrip from the door.



Installation Procedure





1. Push the locator pin into position at the upper rear corner of the door.
2. Working forward along the top install the weatherstrip into the flange.
3. Install the retainers to the bottom half of the door.
