Air Inlet Housing Front Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LP1, LY7) (Service and Repair)Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LLT) (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the air inlet grille panel (1). Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .




4. Disconnect the electrical connector (4) from the windshield wiper motor.
5. Remove the wiper motor module (6). Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement (Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement) .




6. Remove the air inlet housing retaining nuts/bolts.
7. Remove the air inlet housing panel assembly from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the air inlet housing panel assembly to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the air inlet housing retaining nuts/bolts.

Tighten the nuts/bolt to 6 N.m (53 lb in).





3. Install the wiper motor module (6). Refer toWindshield Wiper System Module Replacement (Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement) .
4. Install the electrical connector (4) to the windshield wiper motor.
5. Install the air inlet grille panel (1). Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the windshield wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LP1, LY7) (Service and Repair)Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (LLT) (Service and Repair) .
