Side Window Filler Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Open the door.
2. Remove the lower screw (4) from the side window filler panel applique.
Pull the windshield weatherstrip downward at the base of the pillar to expose the lower screw.
3. Remove the cover (2) from the side window filler panel applique to expose the inner screw.
4. Remove the inner screw from the side window filler panel applique.
5. Remove the clip (3) from the side window filler panel applique.
6. Remove the side window filler panel applique (5) from the door.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the clip (3) to the side window filler panel applique.
2. Install the side window filler panel applique (5) to the door.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

3. Install the inner screw to the side window filler panel applique.

Tighten screw to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

4. Install the cover (2) to the side window filler panel applique.
5. Install the lower screw (4) to the side window filler panel applique.

Tighten screw to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

6. Align the windshield weatherstrip to the base of the windshield pillar.
7. Inspect the door window for proper sealing.
8. Close the door.
