Front Floor Console Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the upper console trim. Refer to Front Floor Upper Console Trim Plate Replacement (Front Floor Upper Console Trim Plate Replacement).
2. Remove the shiftier bezel. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement (Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement).




3. Move the driver and passenger front seat in order to access the retaining bolts.
4. Reposition the carpet in order to access the retaining bolts.
5. Remove the retaining bolts.




6. Disconnect the console electrical connectors.
7. Lift the console upward in order to release the retainers securing the rear of the console to the vehicle.
8. Remove the console from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the console electrical connectors.
2. Position the center console to the mounting brackets.




3. Move the driver and passenger front seat in order to install the retaining bolts.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

4. Install the retaining bolts and tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb in).
5. Ensure the carpet is positioned properly in the vehicle.
6. Install the upper console trim. Refer to Front Floor Upper Console Trim Plate Replacement (Front Floor Upper Console Trim Plate Replacement).
7. Install the shiftier bezel. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement (Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement).
