Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 2

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement).
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector(s) (2) from the ignition coils.




3. Remove the ignition coil bolts.
4. Remove the ignition coils.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the ignition coils.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the ignition coil bolts and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).




3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors (2) to the ignition coils.
4. Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement (Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement).
