Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the oil fill cap (1).
2. Disengage the cover/shield (2) from the ball studs by pulling up firmly on the right and left front of the engine cover.
3. Pull the engine cover/sight shield forward to remove from the rear tabs (3).
4. Remove the engine cover/sight shield.

Installation Procedure




1. Raise the front edge of the cover (2) while inserting the rear tabs.
2. Lower the front edge of the cover and slide the cover rearward so that the rear tabs slide under the retainers.
3. Align the cover over the oil fill tube.
4. Press the cover down firmly on the ball stud at the right front corner.
5. Install the oil fill cap (1).
