Exhaust Crossover Pipe Replacement (LGD/LZE)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair) or Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe heat shield bolts.
3. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe heat shield.




4. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe nuts.
5. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe.
6. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe seals.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the exhaust crossover pipe seals to the exhaust manifolds.
2. Install the exhaust crossover pipe.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the exhaust crossover pipe nuts.

Tighten the nuts to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).




4. Install the exhaust crossover pipe heat shield.
5. Install the exhaust crossover pipe heat shield bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

6. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair) or Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair).
