Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Long Wheelbase Sedan)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement.

2. Remove the seat belt lower retaining bolt. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Replacement (Fixed D Ring) Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Replacement (Fixed D Ring).

3. Remove the trim panel - rear quarter lower. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.

4. Remove the upper quarter trim retaining torx screw cover (3).

5. Remove the upper quarter trim retaining torx screw (2).

6. Detach the quarter panel trim (1).

7. Remove the retractor cover (3) by disengaging the retainers.

8. Remove the upper quarter trim panel (2) retaining torx screws (1).

9. Working from the top of the upper quarter trim panel disengage and remove the trim panel (2).

Installation Procedure

Important:
When installing the upper quarter panel trim, ensure that the seat belt is correctly fed through the seat belt access hole located in the lower section (3) of the trim panel.

1. Install the upper quarter trim panel (2) by firmly pushing it into the body panel retainers.

2. Install the upper quarter panel retaining torx screws (1).

Tighten the torx screws to 2.0 Nm (18 lb in).

3. Install the retractor cover (3) by engaging the retainers.

4. Install the quarter panel trim (1).

5. Install the retaining torx screw (2).

Tighten the torx screw to 2.0 Nm (18 lb in).

6. Install the retaining torx screw cover (3).

7. Install the quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement.

8. Install the seat belt lower retaining bolt. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Replacement (Fixed D Ring) Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Replacement (Fixed D Ring).

9. Install the seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement.
