Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the rear carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Sedan) Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Sedan).

2. Remove the rear end trim finish panel. Refer to Rear End Trim Finish Panel Replacement Rear End Trim Finish Panel Replacement.

3. Remove the seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement.





4. Remove the two carpet retainers (1) securing the rear compartment side trim panel. The right side is shown, the left side is similar.





5. Remove the two carpet retainers (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet, which are located inside of the vehicle.





6. Remove the two carpet retainers (1) securing the centre panel carpet.





7. Remove the quarter panel side carpet retainer (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet.

8. Remove the quarter panel side carpet.

9. Carry out this procedure for the opposite side.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the quarter panel side carpet.





2. Install the quarter panel side carpet retainer (1).





3. Install the two carpet retainers (1) to secure the centre panel carpet.





4. Install the two carpet retainers (1) securing the rear quarter panel side carpet.





5. Install the two carpet retainers (1) securing the rear compartment side trim panel.

6. Make sure the carpet has a flush finish with the quarter panel.

7. Install the seat back assembly. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement Rear Seat Back Cushion Replacement.

8. Install the rear end trim finish panel. Refer to Rear End Trim Finish Panel Replacement Rear End Trim Finish Panel Replacement.

9. Install the rear carpet. Refer to Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Sedan) Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Sedan).
