Door Window Major Height Adjustment

Warning:
Refer to Express Down Feature Warning Express Down Feature Warning.






1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side or Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side.





2. Reconnect the window switch to the harness.

3. Raise the door window.

4. Disconnect the window switch from the harness.





5. Remove the window clamp sight access plugs.





6. Loosen the window clamps.

7. Close the door.

8. With the aid of an assistant standing outside of the vehicle, position the window to the door opening.

9. From the inside of the vehicle tighten the window clamps.





10. Open the door and install the window clamp sight access plugs.





11. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side or Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side.

12. Perform minor height and minor tip-in adjustments as necessary. Refer to Door Window Tip-In Adjustment Door Window Tip-In Adjustment and Door Window Minor Height Adjustment Door Window Minor Height Adjustment.
