Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair




Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LDE, LXV, LUW, 2H0 and LFH)

Removal Procedure

1. Open the hood.




2. Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor wiring harness plug (1).
3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (1.6L LDE, LXV, 1.8L 2H0, LUW and LFH) Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.




4. Remove the air cleaner assembly (1).

* Unclip the air cleaner inlet duct
* Unclip the drain hose, if equipped

Installation Procedure




1. Install the air cleaner assembly (1).

* Clip in the drain hose, if equipped
* Clip in the air cleaner inlet duct

2. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (1.6L LDE, LXV, 1.8L 2H0, LUW and LFH) Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.




3. Connect the intake air temperature sensor wiring harness plug (1).
4. Close the hood.
