Intake Manifold Assemble

Intake Manifold Assemble (LF1, LFW or LFX)





1. Install the NEW plastic compression limiters (1).





2. Install the NEW lower intake manifold gaskets (3).

3. Install the lower intake manifold (2) and bolts (1).

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

4. Tighten the lower intake manifold bolts (1) to 7 Nm (62 lb in).





5. Inspect the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor O-ring seal for damage. If the seal is damaged replace the MAP sensor.

6. Install the MAP sensor (2).

7. Install the MAP sensor bolt (1) and tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb in).





8. Inspect the evaporative (EVAP) solenoid O-ring seal for damage. If the seal is damaged replace the EVAP solenoid.

9. Install the EVAP solenoid (1).

10. Tighten the EVAP solenoid bolt to 10 Nm (89 lb in).





11. Install the NEW throttle body seal (3).

12. Install the throttle body (2).

13. Install the throttle body bolts (1) and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
