Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Removal
Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Removal Note: Note the position and direction of the flex plate (1) before removal. The flex plate (1) does not use a locating pin for alignment. Mark or scribe the end of the crankshaft and the flex plate (1) before component removal.
1.
Remove the flex plate to crankshaft retaining bolts (2).
2.
Remove the flex plate (1).
