Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Carefully remove the shift control knob trim ring by turning counter-clockwise and pulling downward.

2. Remove the shift control knob retaining screw.

3. Remove the shift control knob.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the shift control knob onto the shift control lever.

Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the shift control knob retainer screw.

Tighten the screw to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

3. Install the shift control knob trim ring and turn clockwise to lock into place.
