Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (Engine to Chassis LTG)

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Warning Service Precautions.


Warning: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning Safety Glasses Warning.


1. Relieve the system fuel pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Service and Repair.

2. Remove the fuel feed front pipe. Refer to Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement (LCV) Fuel Feed Front Pipe ReplacementFuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement (LTG) Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement.




3. Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the retainers (2).

4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.




5. Disconnect the fuel feed pipe (1) and remove from retainers (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

6. Remove the fuel feed pipe (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the fuel feed pipe (1) to the vehicle.

2. Connect the fuel feed pipe (1) and install to the retainers (2). Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.

3. Lower the vehicle.




4. Install the fuel feed pipe (1) to the retainers (2).

5. Install the fuel feed front pipe. Refer to Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement (LCV) Fuel Feed Front Pipe ReplacementFuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement (LTG) Fuel Feed Front Pipe Replacement.
