Oil Filler Tube Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the fan and clutch assembly. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement (Non-HP2) (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Service and Repair).
3. Remove the upper oil fill tube bolt (1).




4. Remove the oil filler tube bracket bolts.
5. Remove the oil fill tube bracket.




6. Remove the lower oil fill tube bolt (1).




7. Remove the oil fill tube.
8. Remove and discard the oil fill tube O-ring seal.

Installation Procedure




1. Install a NEW O-ring seal onto the oil fill tube.
2. Install the oil fill tube.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the lower oil fill tube bolt (1).

Tighten the bolts to 21 Nm (15 lb ft).




4. Install the oil fill tube bracket.
5. Install the oil filler tube bracket bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 21 Nm (15 lb ft).




6. Install the upper oil fill tube bolt (1).

Tighten the bolts to 21 Nm (15 lb ft).

7. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (Service and Repair).
8. Install the fan and clutch assembly. Refer to Cooling Fan and Shroud Replacement (Non-HP2) (Service and Repair).
