Rear Side Door Window Front Channel Replacement (Acadia/Traverse)

Removal Procedure




1. Place the door window in the full up position.

2. Remove the bolt (1) from the rear side door window front channel.

3. Pull the weatherstrip out of the lower section of the rear side door window front channel (2).

4. Remove the rear side door window front channel from the door.

Installation Procedure





Note: Ensure that the upper and lower weatherstrip channels are connected before installing the weatherstrip.

1. Install the rear side door window front channel (1) to the door.

2. Press the weatherstrip into the channel (1).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

3. Install the bolt (1) that retains the rear side door window front channel.

Tighten nut to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

4. Roll the window up and down to ensure proper operating be install the door trim.
