Vibration Damper - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
2. Raise vehicle on hoist.
3. Remove the accessory drive belt.Accessory Drive Belt - Removal
4. Remove vibration damper bolt.
5. Insert Special Tool 8450 (2) into crankshaft nose.
6. Position 3-jaw puller Special Tool 1026 (2) on damper. Turn puller forcing screw until damper releases from crankshaft.
7. Remove the crankshaft vibration damper.
