Cylinder Head Assembly: Specifications

Camshaft Bearing Bridge
Stage One 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.)
Stage Two 90° Clockwise
Camshaft Sprocket Bolts
Stage One 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.)
Stage Two 90° Clockwise





Note: Measure and inspect cylinder head bolts before reuse. Do not reuse bolts that exceed 144 mm (1) in length.

Cylinder Head Bolts
Stage One 10 Nm (7 ft. lbs.)
Stage Two 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
Stage Three 90° Clockwise
Stage Four 90° Clockwise
Tighten bolts 9 and 10 to 20 N.m (7-15 ft. lbs.)
Intake Manifold Bolts 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.)





LEFT SIDE

Exhaust Manifold to Cylinder Head Bolts
Position the manifold (1) and gaskets (2) on the cylinder head. Install the manifold nuts (3) and tighten to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.)





RIGHT SIDE

Exhaust Manifold to Cylinder Head Bolts
Position the manifold (2) and gaskets (1) on the cylinder head.
Install the manifold nuts (3) and tighten to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.).
