Removal

REMOVAL - RESONATOR





1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the engine cover (1).





3. Disengage the retainer (2) from the upper intake manifold and remove the fresh air makeup hose (1).





4. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.
5. Loosen the clamp (1) and remove the hose from the resonator.
6. Remove the push pin (3).





7. Disengage the power steering hose retainer (1) from the resonator.
8. Pull the resonator straight up off of the two locating pins on the right cylinder head cover. Disengage and remove the resonator from the throttle body inlet.
