Front Lower Control Arm - Removal






REMOVAL





1. Raise and support the vehicle Maintenance.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove the knuckle Front Steering Knuckle - Removal.
4. Remove the stabilizer link (7) to lower control arm nut.

NOTE: If equipped with four wheel drive, support the half shaft or remove with the lower control arm.

5. Remove the shock clevis bracket to lower control arm nut/bolt (6).





6. Remove the lower control arm front pivot nut and bolt (4) from the lower control arm (3).
7. Remove the lower control arm rear pivot vertical bolt and nut (1) and the lower control arm rear pivot horizontal bolt and nut (2) from the lower control arm (3) and remove from the vehicle.
