Gearshift Mechanism - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Remove gear shift bezel and turn the boot (1) inside out.





2. Remove the center console assembly. Remove rear power window switch (if equipped) and disconnect harness from console.

NOTE: Cable is pushed into a rubber grommet.

3. Remove select cable (2) from shift lever (1).





4. Remove shift cable retaining clip (3) and disconnect cable (2) from the shift lever (1).





5. Remove the shifter assembly to riser bolts (3) and remove shifter from vehicle.
