Removal
REMOVALThe Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) and the
accelerator pedal is serviced as a complete assembly including the bracket.
1.
Disconnect the negative battery cable (1).
2.
Disconnect the electrical connector (3) at the APPS (6).
3.
Remove the two
accelerator pedal retaining bracket nuts (4) and remove the accelerator pedal assembly (2) from the mounting studs (1).
