Shifter Housing - Removal

REMOVAL

NOTE:
Avenger shown, 200 similar.

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.

2. Using (C-4755) or equivalent, remove and disconnect the HVAC controls (1).





3. Using (C-4755) or equivalent, remove and disconnect the console front storage bin (1).

4. Remove the front console fasteners.





5. Using (C-4755) or equivalent, remove the shifter trim bezel (1).





6. Open the console bin lid and remove the console bin mat/liner.

7. Remove the bolts (1) located inside the console bin.





8. Lift up on the rear of the center console (1), disconnect the wiring harness and remove.
