Transmission Shifter - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Install the shifter assembly to the vehicle.

NOTE: Make sure the locking tab on the gearshift cable is fully engaged after the gearshift cable is installed to the shifter housing.

2. Connect the cable (1) to the shifter lever.





3. Tighten the fasteners (1) to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.).
4. Re-connect the electrical connection (2).
5. Install the lower instrument panel bezel Instrument Panel Lower Bezel - Installation
6. Verify shifter operation and adjust cable as necessary Adjustments.
