Transmission Control Module - Installation






INSTALLATION





1. Clean any debris or contaminants to the connector area.





2. Use the positive locating feature on the electrical connector to orient the Transmission Control Module (TCM) prior to installation.





3. Install the TCM, tighten the fasteners to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).






NOTE: Do not turn the shaft more than 60 degrees to the marking, otherwise damage may occur.

4. Be sure to match the position of the TCM markings (1).





5. Connect the manual shift lever to the TCM (1), tighten the fastener to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)

6. Connect the electrical connections to the TCM.
7. Install the battery tray Battery Tray - Installation.

8. Reprogram the TCM AW60T TCM Programming Procedure.
