Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

1. Check accelerator cable for play, adjust as necessary.
2. Start engine and allow it to run at idle speed until operating temperature is reached.
3. Remove TV cable adjustment cover.
4. Using a feeler gauge, measure TV cable boot to inner stopper clearance. If clearance is more than 0.02 inch, adjust TV cable, Fig. 4.
5. Turn TV cable adjustment nuts "A until correct clearance is obtained. If correct clearance cannot be obtained using adjustment nuts "A, use adjustment nuts "B.
