DTC 21: Difference in Wheel SpeedNOTE: After setting the front toe always perform the steering angle sensor writing procedure.
1. Check the all four tires.
Are all four tires the correct size and property inflated?
YES - Go to step 2.
NO - Install the correct tires or set the tires to the correct pressure, and retest by test-driving.
2. Check the all wheel sensors.
Are wheel sensors installed correctly and in good condition?
YES - Go to step 3.
NO - Reinstall or replace the wheel sensor(s), and recheck by test-driving.
3. Check the all magnetic: encoders on the wheel bearings.
Are they installed correctly and good condition?
YES - Go to step 4.
NO - Replace the wheel bearing(s), and recheck by test-driving.
4. Swap the wheels and tires with a known-good vehicle.
5. Clear the code and test-drive the vehicle.
Does the vehicle recode DTC 21?
YES - Check for loose terminals in the VSA control unit 46P connector. If the VSA modulator-control unit.
NO - Install the original wheels and tires onto the vehicle and retest. If it recodes, replace the problem tires.
