DTC 61

DTC 61: Low +B-FSR Voltage

DTC 62: High +B-FSR Voltage

1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
3. Turn the ignition switch OFF, then disconnect the HDS.
4. Test-drive the vehicle.
5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 61 or 62 indicated?

YES - Check the battery and the charging system. If the battery tests good, check for loose terminals in the VSA modulator-control unit 47P connector. Inspect for loose or poor connection at G 302. If necessary, substitute a known-good VSA modulator-control unit, and retest.

NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
