Ignition Switch Test

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, and precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or servicing.

1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure.

2. Remove the left front door sill trim and left kick panel Service and Repair.

3. Disconnect the 6P connector (A) from the under-dash fuse/relay box.






4. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.





5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the ignition switch Service and Repair.

6. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure.
