Rear Differential Pump Motor Removal and Installation (KA, KC Models AWD)

Removal

1. Vehicle Lift

1. Raise the vehicle on a lift, and make sure it is securely supported.

2. Rear Differential Harness Bracket





1. Disconnect the breather hose (A) from the pump motor breather pipe (B).

2. Remove the harness clip (C) and the harness bracket (D).

3. Rear Differential Motor Connector





1. Disconnect the connector (A).

4. Rear Differential Motor Assembly





1. Remove the rear differential pump motor (A) and the O-ring (B).

Installation

1. Rear Differential Motor Assembly





1. Install the rear differential pump motor (A) with a new O-ring (B).

2. Rear Differential Motor Connector





1. Connect the connector (A).

3. Rear Differential Harness Bracket





1. Install the harness bracket (A) and the harness clip (B).

2. Connect the breather hose (C) to the pump motor breather pipe (D).
