Dashboard Center Panel Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

NOTE:

- Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Remove these items:

- Center middle panel Dashboard Center Middle Panel Removal/Installation
- Passenger's middle panel Dashboard Passengers Middle Panel Removal/Installation

2. From the passenger's side, pull out the center panel (A) to detach the clips.






3. From the center area, pull out the center panel (A) to detach the clips (B, C), and disconnect the hazard warning switch connector (D) and the HVAC control unit connector or climate control unit connectors (E), then remove the panel.

NOTE: If you are only removing the center panel, go to step 8. If you are doing further disassembly of the center panel, continue to step 4.






Passenger's Outlet Replacement

4. Remove the passenger's outlet (A) from the center panel (B).

1. Remove the screws.

2. Release the hooks (C), then release the hook (D).






Display Visor Replacement

5. Remove the HVAC control unit (without climate control) HVAC Control Unit Removal/Installation (Without Climate Control) or the climate control unit (with climate control) Climate Control Unit Removal/Installation (With Climate Control).

6. Remove the screws, and release the hooks (A), then remove the display visor (B) from the center panel (C).






Center Outlet Replacement

7. Remove the screws, then remove the left center outlet (A) and the right center outlet (B) from the center panel (C).






8. Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
