Ignition Coil: Service and Repair




Ignition Coil and Spark Plug Removal/Installation

1. Remove the under-cowl panel Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the ignition coil connectors, then remove the ignition coils.





3. Remove the spark plugs and inspect them. Testing and Inspection

4. Apply a small amount of anti-seize compound to the plug threads, and screw the plugs into the cylinder head, finger tight. Torque them to 18 Nm (1.8 kg-m, 13lb-ft).

5. Install the ignition coils in the reverse order of removal.
