Horn Test/Replacement

Horn (High)/Security Horn

1. Remove the front bumper center upper beam Front Bumper Center Upper Beam Replacement.

2. Remove the front bumper Front Bumper Removal / Installation.

3. Disconnect the 1P connector (A) from the horn (B), then remove the bolt.





4. Remove the bolt (C).

5. Test the horn by connecting battery power to the terminal (A) and body ground to the bracket (B).
The horn should sound.





6. If the horn fails to sound, replace it.

Horn (Low)

1. Remove the front bumper center upper beam Front Bumper Center Upper Beam Replacement.

2. Disconnect the 1P connector (A) from the horn (B), then remove the bolt.





3. Remove the bolt (C).

4. Test the horn by connecting battery power to the terminal (A) and body ground to the bracket (B).
The horn should sound.





5. If the horn fail to sound, replace it.
