Rear Window Wiper Motor Replacement

Removal

NOTE: Be careful not to scratch or damage the tailgate.

1. Remove the cap (A), the mounting nut (B), the wiper arm (C), and the special nut (D).






2. Open the tailgate, and remove the tailgate lower trim panel .

3. Disconnect the 4P connector (A) from the rear window wiper motor (B).





4. Remove the three bolts and the rear window wiper motor.

Installation

1. Align the position marks when installing the seal (A), then install a washer (B), and motor (C), and tighten in the bolts (D).






2. Note the below items, them install the rear window wiper arms in the reverse order of removal.

- Grease the moving parts.
- Before reinstalling the wiper arm, connect the 4P connector to the wiper motor and turn the rear window wiper switch ON then OFF to return the wiper shaft to the park position.

3. After installation, adjust the wiper arm, check the wiper motor operation.
