Catalytic Converter Guard Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair .
2. Remove the engine protection shield. Refer toEngine Protection Shield Replacement (Service and Repair) .




3. Remove the mounting bolts.
4. Remove the guard from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the guard to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice Service Precautions .

2. Install the mounting bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 30 Nm (22 lb ft).

3. Install the engine protection shield. Refer toEngine Protection Shield Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Lower the vehicle.
