Bumper Replacement - Front



Bumper Replacement - Front





1. Remove the front grille guard, if equipped. Refer toGrille Guard/Brush Guard Replacement (Grille Guard/Brush Guard Replacement) in Exterior Trim.




2. Remove the 2 lower bolts from the bumper bar.




3. Remove the 2 plugs (1) from the front fascia (2).
4. Disconnect the electrical connector to the daytime running lamps (DRL).




5. Remove the 2 upper bolts from the bumper bar.
6. Remove the front bumper assembly from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the front bumper assembly to the vehicle.





Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the 2 upper bolts to the bumper bar.

Tighten the bolts to 85 Nm (63 lb ft).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the DRL.




4. Install the 2 plugs (1) to the front fascia (2).




5. Install the 2 lower bolts to the bumper bar.

Tighten the bolts to 85 Nm (63 lb ft).





6. Install the front grille guard, if equipped. Refer toGrille Guard/Brush Guard Replacement (Grille Guard/Brush Guard Replacement) in Exterior Trim.
