Midgate Hinge Finish Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Insert a flat-bladed tool at the top of the midgate hinge cover trim (2), between the midgate (1) and the trim cover (2) tab.
2. Push up on the flat-bladed tool to release the midgate hinge trim cover (2) tab.




3. Once the midgate hinge trim cover (1) tab is released , roll the midgate hinge trim cover (1) forward.
4. Lift the hinge trim cover (1) up, in order to remove the midgate hinge trim cover off the hinge pin.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the midgate hinge trim cover (1) to the midgate hinge pin.




2. Roll the midgate hinge trim cover (2) up and snap into place.
3. Ensure proper operation of the midgate (1).
