Master Cylinder Replacement

Removal Procedure
Caution: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Caution (Brake Fluid Irritant Caution) .

1. Remove the power brake booster. Refer to Power Brake Booster Replacement (Power Brake Booster Replacement) .
2. Remove the master cylinder reservoir. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement (Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement) .




3. Remove the electronic brake and traction control module (2) and gasket (3) from the master cylinder. Refer to Electronic Brake and Traction Control Module Replacement (Electronic Brake and Traction Control Module Replacement) .
4. Remove the brake master cylinder (5).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the electronic brake and traction control module (2) and gasket (3) to the master cylinder. Refer to Electronic Brake and Traction Control Module Replacement (Electronic Brake and Traction Control Module Replacement) .
2. Install the master cylinder reservoir. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement (Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement) .
3. Install the power brake booster. Refer to Power Brake Booster Replacement (Power Brake Booster Replacement) .
