Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement)
2. Remove the water pump inlet housing bolts.
3. Remove the water pump inlet housing from the water pump.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the water pump inlet housing to the water pump.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the water pump inlet housing bolts and tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb ft).
3. Install the radiator outlet hose. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement)
4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac-N-Fill) (Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (Service and Repair).
