Removal and Installation


REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Bumper fascia is made of resin. Never apply strong force to it, and be careful to prevent contact with oil.
1. Fully open back door.





2. Remove bumper side cover (1) fixing clips and pawls, and then remove bumper side cover (LH/RH).

3. Remove rear combination lamp (LH/RH). Removal And Installation Xenon Type.





4. Remove clip (A) and bolts (B) located under rear combination lamp (LH/RH).





5. Remove rear fillet molding (1) fixing screws (A) (LH/RH).
6. Remove rear fillet molding fixing pawls and clip (LH/RH). Removal And Installation.

7. Remove bumper fascia (1) fixing screws (A) (LH/RH).





8. Remove clips (A) of bumper fascia underside.





9. Pull to release bumper fascia assembly from bumper side bracket.

10. Disconnect bumper sub harness connector (A).
11. Remove bumper fascia assembly.

CAUTION:
When removing bumper fascia, 2 workers are required so as to prevent it from dropping.
12. Remove the following parts after removing bumper fascia.
- Rear turn signal lamp (LH/RH). Removal And Installation Xenon Type.
- Sonar sensor. Removal And Installation Bose Audio With Navigation.
- Bumper sub harness
- Bumper side bracket A
- Bumper side bracket B
13. Remove bumper energy absorber.
14. Remove license lamp harness clamps of bumper reinforcement.
15. Remove bumper reinforcement mounting nuts, and then remove bumper reinforcement with power tool.

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE:





After installing, perform fitting adjustment.
