INTELLIGENT KEY

Description

The following functions are available when having and carrying electronic ID.
- Door lock/unlock
- Engine start
Remote control entry function and panic alarm function are available when operating on button.


Component Function Check


1. CHECK FUNCTION

Check ("RKE OPE COUN1") in BCM "Data Monitor" mode using CONSULT.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Intelligent Key is OK.
NO- Refer to "Diagnosis Procedure" .


Diagnosis Procedure


1. CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY BATTERY






Check by connecting a resistance (approximately 300 Ohms) so that the current value becomes about 10 mA. Refer to "Removal and Installation" Service and Repair.
Standard: Approx. 2.5 - 3.0V
Is the measurement value within the specification?
YES- Replace Intelligent Key.
NO- Replace Intelligent Key battery.
