Power Side Step Motor

Removal

CAUTION: Make sure that the area around the component is clean and free of foreign material.
1 Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Specifications Battery and Charging System

WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.
Raise and support the vehicle.
3 Remove the power side step. For additional information, refer to Power Side Step Power Side Step




4 Release the electrical connector.




5 Remove the bolt and the wedge key.




6 Remove the 3 bolts.




7 Remove the power side step motor.

Installation





1 Install the power side step motor.




2 TORQUE: 9 Nm




3 Install the bolt and the wedge key.




4 Align the wedge key.




5 TORQUE: 10 Nm




6 Attach the electrical connector.
7 Install the power side step. For additional information, refer to Power Side Step Power Side Step
8 Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Specifications [1][2]Battery
