Clearing Trouble Codes

NOTE: This is the only information provided by the manufacturer for Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes for this system.

Without using hand-held tester
Clear the DTC.




1. Using SST connect terminals Tc and E1 of DLC1.
SST 09843-18020

2. Turn the ignition switch ON.

3. Depress the brake pedal 8 or more times within 3 seconds.

HINT: By completing the above operation, the DTC of the ABS will be cancelled out.

With hand-held tester
Clear the DTC.




1. Hook up the LEXUS hand-held tester to the DLC3.

2. Turn the ignition switch ON.

3. Operating the LEXUS hand-held tester to erase the codes. (See LEXUS hand-held tester operator's manual).
