DTC B1245 - Wiper ECU Communication Stop

DESCRIPTION

DTC B1245 is output when communication between the auto wiper ECU and the gateway ECU stops for more than 10 seconds.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (ECU-B)
(a) Remove the ECU-B fuse from the fusible link block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ohms
NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AUTO WIPER ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the A28 connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:






Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK RESISTANCE OF COMMUNICATION LINE





(a) Disconnect the A28 and A8 ECU connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE AUTO WIPER ECU
