ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH
(a) Disconnect the connector from the engine oil pressure switch.
(b) Ground the terminal on the wire harness side, then measure the resistance.
Standard Resistance:
Engine idling
Below 1 Ohms
Engine stopped
10 kOhms or higher
HINT: If the value is not as specified, replace the engine oil pressure switch.
